It’s Time To Step In

2.2.17  My word for you today is to be strong and courageous!  I see some of you stepping into things for the first time.   Some of you are on the tip of stepping into things…. put your foot through the doorway and walk with God.  I sense someone needs the extra confirmation today.

Trust God’s leading.  Some have had things in their heart for years but it is coming to the surface.   Get into the faith car and get moving.  God who is the GPS will guide you.

I was talking to a precious lady yesterday who said that her father had passed about 10 years ago.  She explained to me that her mom hasn’t been able to move forward and hardly leaves her house.  The little bit she said to me touched me deeply because I myself lived like that, where grief and depression tried to stop my destiny for years.

But I have come to encourage someone, it is a new day!!  I pray that something shifts or switches in your mind today.  May you truly see how valuable you are.  There is still breath in your body and God has a divine purpose for your life!

I have written in a journal for years.  But this one day I came to the realization, it was time to put steps to what God was showing me in that journal.  I remember surrendering to God 100%, holding nothing back.  Asking him to lead my life and I would do my best to obey the promptings within.

Let me tell you, if you pray a prayer like that and sincerely mean it with all your heart, God will remind you of your YES.  Many things I have never done before I felt to step into, sometimes nervous at first because it was new territory.

I remember the first day I went into the recording studio recording my album “We Will Stand”.  I felt like a fish out of water, but the studio embraced me and helped me.  Today we have full album with 12 songs, and a single being released this year about my life “Love Is Pouring Down”.   We also just completed a healing album that will be released this year.

What I am trying to say is… I had never done this before but God was asking me to step out in faith and basically get my feelings out of the way and let him truly lead my life.

I am talking to you from my heart today.   Stepping into that studio in June 2015 has giving me courage to do so much more than I ever thought possible.  Speaking on stages, traveling, interviews on TV, writing a book, and now filming videos sharing my journey.

Something happens when you fully surrender.  I often refer to it as a continual surrender.  A surrender that believes God and moves forward with His plan.  Life is such an adventure.  I truly feel like the teenage girl finding what she is called to do.  I can truly say I feel like I am FULLY living for the first time in my life!

We all quote this scripture by memory but let it become alive to you today!

Philippians 4:13  I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.

Yes, you can!  You can do whatever God is asking you do with His strength!  Take the limits off today. See yourself walking in those things God has shown you in your heart.  I am always encouraging people to surrender again to God 100%.   Go as far as He wants to take you!

Also, when you FULLY step into purpose, money is the not the deciding factor.  Do not allow money to hold you back.  God has given ideas to fund projects, he has even brought money to the door.  Sometimes shown me ways to make extra money to support HIS dream.  It has been a lot of elbow grease at times but no greater fulfillment than walking out God’s plan for your life.

FAITH walks WITH God.  When you give your heart to God, He lives in you and moves with you.  You function with him and He finds ways to make things happen.  He simply asking for your steps of obedience for it to come to pass.

Please hear my heart today.   No matter what you are called to do, let it be about HIS purpose being fulfilled in your life.   Its not about what people say around you, but what matters to God.  We will all stand before Him.  When it is our time to die, may it be said that we lived life to the fullest.

Would you pray this prayer with me today:

God, I give you 100% of my life.  I ask you to lead and guide my footsteps.  I accept those things that you have called me to do.   If you say I can, than I come into agreement with your word.   Thank you God for your impressions in my heart and I will do my very best to follow through on what you show me.  God, help me to stay in step with you so I may fulfill my purpose on this earth.  Thank you for your help and strength today.  Thank you God for this new day in my life, and thank you for continually reminding me of my YES.  In Jesus name,  Amen.

Pray this ministered to you.  Love you all,

Hold On To It!

1.25.17  The word I am hearing in my heart today is to hold fast to that which God has promised you! Have you ever had a dream from years ago, you know God gave you?  Maybe you have put it on a shelf and forgotten about it?  It may have been years since you have revisited it.  I have good news!

I want to encourage you today!  If God spoke it in your heart, hold on to it…Go get it off the shelf…. dust it off… Keep it in the forefront of your mind, in agreement with God.  Begin to see it taking shape and as God prompts your heart, step towards those dreams!

I love what the amplified Bible has to say about this!

Hebrews 10:23  Let us seize and hold tightly the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful to His word.

To seize means to to take hold of suddenly!  This verse is saying take hold of it and don’t let go!  I think this is a powerful verse, I have seen it to be true in my own life.

My life has changed drastically in the last two years.   Standing in my kitchen, June 2015, I prayed a prayer that has changed my life.  I gave God 100% of me.  I have been saved since I was 11 years old, but when I surrendered everything, things went to an entirely different level.

I began to believe what God said was possible, and started taking steps toward my purpose.  Have I made some mistakes along the way?  Yes!  Have I learned at times?  Yes!  But God is so pleased with our efforts, he continually turns things for our good.  As we step out we are also learning and growing.

Romans 8:28  And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

I have had much pain to overcome in my life.  I faced the trauma of my mother being murdered when I was at such a tender age of 15, holding her in my arms as she died.  That one day put a impression in me that began to form my life into a cycle of insecurity, nightmares, suicidal thoughts and depression.

Being in a good church, learning the Word and connecting with people of faith began to fill the void in me.  It began to replace the negative.  I have chose to let God work in me even as I have been healing.   I encourage you to read my blogs on how I overcame the depression.

I am not proud of it, but I spent years taking sleeping pills to numb my pain.  The reason I am so open to talk about it now, is for the sake of helping others come into purpose.

Your life is VALUABLE!  Life may have thrown you pain, but I have witnessed surrendering to God fully, sometimes daily, has been healing me and helping me step into purpose.

Matthew 19:26 All things are possible with God.

In all honesty, I feel like I am truly living for the first time in my life.  Yes, at 45!

Many great things have happened so far in the last couple years.  I almost feel like a kid.  Literally learning what I enjoy, what I want to be when I grow up!

This year for the first time, I have a vision board up and and am working towards the goals for this year. I crossed off 2 already!

Its an amazing and exciting journey walking with God.  I tell my friends, there is never a dull moment.  I truly believe God is making some things up to me… restoring the years that were taken from me.  And He will do the same for you!

What has it been like for you to give God 100%?   Are there any experiences you can share with the readers?

Much love,

The Value of Remaining Steady

01.06.17   I have a word on my heart for someone today.  What is the value of remaining steady?  I am supposed to remind someone, that we go through different seasons of our lives.  Just like there are 4 seasons in nature, a tree doesn’t have fruit falling off the tree all year round.  A tree actually gains strength in its winter season, its roots are strengthening for the new season ahead.

God reminded me of this scripture:  Psalms 1:2-3 … whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.  That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season.

I have decided in my own life to be content in whatever season I find myself.  Preparation and strengthening time is never wasted time and it is very necessary for the sprints in our lives.

Even in the beauty of nature, which God created, trees have seasons where strength is happening underground where no one sees.  Flowers have seasons of blooms, and then the next flower blooms.

I also see in this example that there is room for all of Gods gifts and colors.  When you think about how many different kinds of flowers and trees there are… all with different climates and blooming times.   I believe so it is in our lives…. In the beautiful garden of Gods people, we all bloom in seasons and it makes for the most amazing flower beds.

May this be an encouragement for someone today.  If you are in the winter or fall season and things seem quiet, I want you to know there is huge value in remaining steady.  Please know that this time is actually preparing you for what is ahead.

God bless you in all parts of your journey.  God smiles when He thinks of you, His beautiful creation.

Much love,

Hope Is Arising!

A word for someone today ~ I see God restoring in such a powerful way that you won’t even recognize the old way of life.  This word comes to brighten your day.  You have withstood much.

I see some that have went through trials and pain, but God wants you to know He is restoring your life.  He is setting things in order.  He is lifting you up, lifting up your spirits this day that not all is lost.  You are about to embark on a new journey.

Being A Voice In Your Community

This is a guest post from a dear friend of ours, John Huffines. John and his beautiful wife Bonnie, reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  John has been attending and speaking at the City Council meeting, for 10 years now.  Thank you John for sharing this article and inspiring us that we can all make a difference.

Can you say with me, “My voice counts”?  Around 1991 it occurred to me to begin attending the city council meetings in Tulsa, Oklahoma in order to gain some understanding of how our city government operated.  I read in Romans 5 that we are called to rule and reign in this life and I heard again and again we were to be a voice for Jesus.
